Hello Mallary – I work in Phillips Memorial Library here at PC. I saw your post via my daily “Google Alerts” notice that flags all pages with the word “Providence College” in them.
Just wanted to let you know of a new collection on our website, involving digitizing past issues of the Cowl and putting them online for viewing. The link below will take you to the first page. We’re starting very slowly but eventually hope to have all issues posted.

I’ve notified the current Cowl editorial staff, along with the advisor. They’re very excited and plan to incorporate the site into the 75th anniversary celebration of the Cowl next year.

Thanks so much, Julie! This is great news. This will definitely be helpful for us as we look for ways to commemorate The Cowl’s 75 anniversary. It’s a good resource, too, for people who want to search old issues of the paper.
